And it actually reminds me a lot -- albeit what he wrote was much shorter and infused with a lot more alcohol, and I swear to God the misspelling of "Fedorov" would never, ever usually happen -- of what my now 27-year-old brother had to say in the wee hours after the '08 Cup win. You have managed to basically describe every feeling I have for the Wings...past and present. This team has aged with me, and I somehow feel like I'm connected to the players. They don't know who I am and they probably never will, but I hope they do know what kind of fans/friends they truly have. I am honored to know that this team belongs to people like you and I.
