I am shocked and horrified. Really. I am. Honest.

How astounding!

You mean to tell me that branches of the United States government used false data to inflate terror statistics so as to convince the populace that the threat of a terrorist attack was greater than it actually was?

How utterly surprising and disturbing.

What is really shocking about this is that it took six years and a Justice department audit before the American people found out that perhaps the terrorist threat is not so great as their government had made it out to be.

And no, you can’t have refunds on that case of duct tape.

Shockingly, when you count marriage fraud and immigration violations (and probably advertising stunts that freak out a city of idiots)  among terrorist plots … you will see a lot of terrorism.

There is no point in ranting about this for 600 words. There isn’t really anything to say. It’s not the first time the government has been caught lying, or fudging numbers, or assuming their populace is nearly brain-dead. It’s just the most recent example.

But I think the most ironic part is this:

“Charges against a suspect for dealing firearms without a license … should not have been labeled as anti-terrorism.”

Because if dealing firearms without a license counts as terror activity, then half of Texas has 72 black-eyed virgins waiting for them when they die. Allahu Ackbar, y’all!

Read the audit here, if you like legalese. Or, if you are an American citizen with a brain, just nod your head sadly and murmur, “Yep. Sounds about right…”

Then go and cry. Because really, there’s still a year and a half of this idiocy to cope with before anything really changes.

I’m sorry dudes.
